Three different models are available to accommodate 25, 81 or 100 cryogenic vials from 1.2 to 5ml. A transparent cover allows the user to see the contents of the box and is keyed to the base to prevent misalignment. Printed with a series of squares (numbered from 1 to 25, 1 to 81 or 1 to 100) the surface accepts writing with markers, facilitating inventory control. The 25 and 81 place Cryoboxes have unique coloured plastic grids to separate the cover from the base. For 100-place boxes, a coloured base instead of a grid is used.
